1 Pair Power Liftgate Actuator Assembly 68920-09080 68910-09110 for Toyota RAV4 2013-2018

My local mechanic quoted me over $500 for just the LH side OEM part, Amazon had the pair for just over $300, found this site and saved over $100. The box came with both sides labeled for each side. Instructions were also on the sleeve of the actuator. I used a rubber mallet to tap the ball joint into the receiver on the door. The ball joint was already in the bracket that attached to the car frame. 10mm bolts around the sensor frame. The frame part will hang by its wire while you remove the actuator and its connected wire that feeds through the door and connects to a connector inside the door. You will have to pop the panel loose from the bottom and 1/4 way up the sides to reach the connector, but not hard. The part number changed from my original(68920-0R013). New part number here that worked (68920-09080)

Worked great after adjustment! For those who might buy these units, I braced the tailgate up with what i had laying around, which was a 2 x 4 on a hydraulic car jack. After putting the units on, I found the length of the piston rod to be about 1/2 in too long to fit in the mount. I had to jack up the tailgate to make it reach. After installation, I could only close the tailgate by the gates button and not by the dash button or the remotes. They all worded to open without a problem. A bit of research on YouTube, I found that if I manually brought down the tailgate to a lower point than max, pressed the button twice on the tailgate to set this position, it then worked perfectly for both up and down remotely and from the dash button. Nice product. I hope it lasts.
